[NaNoWriMo 2017] Announcing my WIP //I AM ACTUALLY USING THAT WORD?? WOW O_O//

I started writing a story exactly one year ago. It was going to be amazing. At least in my head ;p.

And just when ideas started to kick in, words started to fill the pages, MY COLLEGE ANNOUNCED IT’S DAMNED SEMESTER EXAMS!! It was soo frustrating. I AM TELLING YOU. I had to abandon my story altogether and once forsaken, the mood JUST DID NOT RETURN.

But I mean to push myself over the edge now and learn to grow the wings en-fall.

With this goal in my mind, I HAVE DECIDED TO PARTICIPATE in the National Novel Writing Month this year. It will help me complete the first draft of what I think is going to be an Epic Fantasy. ;p OR NOT. WHATEVER. *me trying to sound cool and calm when in reality I AM FREAKING THE FUCK OUT*

So, I am going to share with you guys the prologue I wrote a while ago.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.
I need your help here. Your suggestions mean a LOT! TRULY.

I won’t be posting each and every chapter I write OBVIOUSLY BUT I want you guys to get a feel of what I am going to create. 🙂

As always, he was seated in the empty hall. The glory that once used to fill every corner had now faded. The gilded glass throne itself radiated an unnatural aversion to it’s rightful heir – one who had protected it for so long. It all seemed a waste now. Even the winds were silent. No whispers. No murmurs of the passing gentle air. Nothing.

”Hail the great Lord of Demonland.” A smooth, velvety voice snapped the king out of his troubled meditations. A figure as pale as the morning mist stood at the entrance. Her black hair barely above the ground and her pink eyes sparkling with the intensity of a thousand nebulae. The dark of the early morning was playing beautifully one her full lips and her bare waist. She was the kind kings declared wars for, heroes slayed dragons for, lovers died for. And she was there, striking the humble king out of his wits.

He stood agape. No doubt he had never seen anyone like her – gracious in her walk with the moon on her face and the night in her hair. A few silent steps and she closed the distance between them, the ground seeming to blush under her feet. 

He allowed his gaze to finally settle on her featured, losing himself in the desire to let his fingers crawl from her eyes to neck and beyond. To claim ownership over every part of her body. With quickening breaths, he found it hard to resist the urge to make her lips tremble with a mere touch of his flesh. And before he could compose himself, he was shivering with ecstasy as she raised her long hands and ran them up and down his neck, digging her nails deeper, drawing him closer. Whatever little distance left between them was no more and she grabbed his nape, pulled him to her lips and at that time, he was hers. All of him under her command. 

The heated touch of their flesh, the mingling of their breaths – it lasted for ever, changing the course of the winds. A tempest, such that Demonland had probably never experienced was about to begin. The sky showed it’s wrath, it rumbled and groaned and shrieked out but neither of them cared. Hands lingered down their waists, removing every shred of dignity from their bodies – they were one, moving and sighing with an ecstatic pleasure. Their moans filled the hall, getting louder and louder. It was not normal. It was a union of the forbidden. But nothing could stop them. Whether it was love or something entirely beyond it, no one would ever know but on one thing the whole kingdom agreed, it changed their lives and not for the better.
Loookie here, this particular scene was pivotal for the plot back when I first started writing it BUT I MAY CHANGE IT OR REMOVE IT COMPLETELY. 

And yet, I still need to know what you thought of it?
